Help your customers manage guest charging

Hospitality businesses installing EV chargers need a practical way to charge guests for the electricity they use. GuestCharge lets guests pay for their charging and sends payouts to the owner automatically. You can introduce it as part of your quote, helping customers plan how they'll manage guest charging from the outset.

How it works for your customer

  1. QR code

    The owner puts a GuestCharge QR code on the charger.

    • Guest pays

      The guest scans it and pays by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. No app, no account.

      • Owner is paid

        Payouts go to the owner's bank account automatically.

        The owner sets their own price per kWh and keeps 90% of what guests pay for the electricity. Guests pay a £2.50 service fee per charge. There's no monthly fee.

        How the programme works

        1. Join

          You get your own referral code and link.

          • Fit and connect

            When you fit a charger at a holiday let, B&B, hotel or campsite, give the owner your link and connect the charger to GuestCharge on site, using the guide for that brand.

            • Get paid

              When the owner takes their first paid guest charge, you've earned £25, or £50 for your first.

              What "goes live" means:
              the owner signs up with your link or code, connects the charger, sets up payouts and takes their first paid guest charge within 6 months of signing up.
              How you're paid:
              we send you a statement every quarter, you invoice us, and we pay within 14 days.
              Programme terms

              Install day

              A few checks so the charger goes live first time:

              1. Check the brand has a setup guide before the visit. If it doesn't, contact us before you fit it.
              2. Ask the owner to sign up with your link, ideally before you arrive.
              3. Make sure the charger has a steady internet connection where it's mounted.
              4. Set the charger's OCPP server address as the guide shows, then check it shows as online in the owner's dashboard.

              Tell us your install date in advance and we can check the connection from our side while you're on site.
