The TeltoCharge is set up from your phone with the Teltonika Energy app. The single most useful thing to know: the charger only accepts Bluetooth pairing for 5 minutes after it powers on. Miss the window and nothing will pair until you power cycle the unit. So have the app installed and ready before you switch the charger on.

The codes you need are on the charger itself: the security code is behind the front cover plate, and you'll use its last 6 digits as the Bluetooth pairing code.

Before you start, check you have

  • The Teltonika Energy app (App Store / Google Play)
  • Access behind the front cover plate for the security code
  • Your Wi-Fi name and password (or a nano SIM, or ethernet)
  • About 20 minutes

1Add the charger in your GuestCharge dashboard

Run the onboarding wizard with the charger's serial number.

2Pair over Bluetooth

  1. Power the charger on (or power cycle it if it's been on more than 5 minutes)
  2. In the app, add a new device with Bluetooth enabled
  3. When the pairing table pops up, enter the last 6 digits of the security code from behind the front cover plate

If pairing fails, restart the app, power cycle the charger, and try again inside the fresh 5-minute window.

3Enter the installer menu

Tap the device, then the settings wheel in the top right corner, and select the Installer menu. Enter the security code from the middle plate of the device, tick the acknowledgement, and continue.

4Get the charger online

Under Connectivity, pick one:

  • Wi-Fi: select your network from the list and enter the password
  • Mobile: insert a nano SIM in the charger first, then configure in the app
  • Ethernet: plug the cable in and it should just work (turn off DHCP only if you need manual settings)

5Enter the GuestCharge settings

In the OCPP configuration:

  • URL: wss://ocpp.guestcharge.co/ followed by the serial number
  • Charge point identity: the charger's serial number, matching the wizard entry
  • Enable the OCPP feature
  • Press Save

How you know it worked

The charger shows as connected in your GuestCharge dashboard.

If it won't connect

  • Check the URL and that the identity matches the wizard entry exactly
  • Confirm the charger is online (the app shows connection status)
  • If the app won't pair at all, you're outside the 5-minute window: power cycle and go again
