GuestCharge is free to set up and has no monthly fees. We take a 10% platform fee on guest charging revenue. Guests pay a small service fee at checkout, and it never comes out of your payout.

What guests pay
Guests pay for the energy they use at your per kWh rate, plus a service fee at checkout: £2.50 per session and a small transaction fee. Your payout is never reduced by the service fee.
A worked example
- A guest charges 30 kWh at £0.30/kWh = £9.00
- Service fee paid by the guest = £2.50 plus a transaction fee of about £0.37
- The guest pays about £11.87 in total
- GuestCharge platform fee (10%) = £0.90
- You receive £8.10, paid out automatically via Stripe
How this compares
Most subscription EV billing apps charge £15–£30 per month. With GuestCharge you only pay when guests do — if you have under 5 charging sessions a month, you'll usually pay less than a subscription would cost.

Are there setup or monthly fees?
No. There is no cost to create an account or connect a charger, and no recurring subscription. The 10% platform fee only applies when a guest actually pays for charging.
Who pays the service fee?
Guests do, at checkout. It is never deducted from your payout.
Do prices differ for multiple properties or agencies?
The same free-to-set-up, 10% platform fee model applies whether you manage one property or several. If you run a larger portfolio and want to talk through the details, contact us.
