What does it cost me?⌄

There are no setup fees or monthly fees. GuestCharge takes a 10% platform fee only when guests pay to charge, and guests pay standard card processing fees at checkout.

Do my guests need an app?⌄

No. Guests scan a QR code and pay by card in their browser. There is nothing to download and no account to create.

Is it legal to bill guests this way?⌄

Yes. GuestCharge is built around UK billing rules, including Ofgem resale principles and MID metering requirements. You should bill from approved metering at or below your supplier rate. Read the billing guide.

What charger do I need?⌄

Most modern OCPP-compatible smart chargers are supported. GuestCharge works with more than 80 models, and you can check yours here.

When do I get paid?⌄

You get paid automatically through Stripe after guests pay to charge.

What about when I stay at my own property?⌄

Owner stays are excluded automatically, so you can use your charger yourself without guest billing being triggered.
