Cord chargers work with GuestCharge, a UK platform built for holiday lets and short-term rentals. Guests scan a QR code on the charger and pay by card for exactly what they use, billed by the kWh, with no app to download and no account to create. Hosts get automatic payouts, there are no monthly fees, and GuestCharge takes a small percentage only when a guest pays. It connects to your Cord charger over OCPP.

Create a free GuestCharge account and register your Cord charger by its serial number.
Connect your charger
Point the charger at GuestCharge and stick the QR code on it.
Guests scan and pay
Guests scan, pay by card, and charge. You get paid out automatically via Stripe.
About Cord
Cord is a UK charger manufacturer and installer based in Birmingham. James and Paul started it in 2023, after finding that getting a charger fitted at home meant too much jargon and too many hidden costs. Cord designs and tests its own smart chargers, built for UK homes and businesses.
